About 6 years ago LSI identified the need to create a new type of Lock and the Cobra Padlock line was born. These Padlocks are not “Me Too” locks, they were designed to fill a specific need. We have won 2 U.S. patents for two of our padlock designs. The Universal PUCK and the FLEX Padlocks are unique in that it allows the end user to change the security level by changing the lock cylinder. In both of these designs we use standard ‘Off the Shelf” lock cylinders.

Universal PUCK Padlock

The Cobra Universal PUCK Padlock is constructed out of Solid Steel that is Hardened for outstanding physical security. The Universal PUCK Padlocks are designed to lock without an outwardly visible shackle. This provides extra security because there is no shackle to cut. These Padlocks are designed to accept Standard Vending Locks that are easily changed by the end user. Can be used with the Cobra 7, CobraMatic 7, Medeco or Abloy vending lock cylinders. The complete padlock offers patented protection (patented lock cylinders must be used).

Cobra FLEX Padlock

The FLEX Padlock is constructed out of hardened steel with a hardened steel shackle for maximum physical protection. The FLEX Padlock is designed so that the end user can change the lock cylinder and by doing this change the security level. This padlock is designed to accept Standard “Off the Shelf” 7/8″ Cam Locks. Can be used with the Cobra 7, CobraMatic 7, Medeco and Abloy 7/8″ Cam Locks. The complete padlock offers patented protection (patented cam locks must be used). We have also designed this lock so that the end user can change the shackle to either a 1″ or 2″ shackle.

Cobra Solid Steel Padlocks

By popular demand we decided to manufacturer our own line of industry standard Solid Steel Padlocks. The Cobra 8200 Series are constructed of Solid Hardened Steel. We give the end user the ability to changed the shackle to either a 1″ or 2″ hardened steel shackle. The 8200 is 2-3/8″ wide x 2-1/8″ high x 1″ thick. The Cobra 8100 is constructed of hardened steel and also offers user changeable shackles. The 8100 measures 1-7/8″wide x 1-3/4″ high x 5/8″ thick. Both the 8200 and 8100 user industry standard lock cylinders.
