Cobra Cam Locks offer Patented Protection with unique 7-Sided Key

This Blog will focus on our Cobra Cam locks.  About 6 years ago we made the decision to design and manufacturer our own line of Cam Locks.  This was no small task, we have many years of experience in the  lock and security business.  But we had very little experience in the design and manufacturing of locks.  We took at look at he current lock market and decided we didn’t want to be a “Me Too” lock manufacturer, we wanted something unique.  Our design yeilded the New Cobra 7 Cam Lock Line.  These locks and locking system is so innovative that we were awarded a US Patent.

Cobra 7 Cam Locks:

Our Cobra 7 Cam Locks takes the standard tubular cam locks and adds unique improvements.  We designed a unique 7-Sided lock front and matched it with a 7-Sided key.  We added a steel anti-drill ball to the lock front. Then we  changed the internal designs to add strength and security.  The keys are only available though Locking Systems International or our authorized service centers.  This provides a high level of key control.  All key codes are registered into our “Lock-Up” Database.  Click HERE for additional information.

CobraMatic 7 Cam Locks:

Our CobraMatic 7 Cam Locks also has the same 7-sided lock front and matching 7-sided key. There is a steel ball for added drill protection. We have added internal stabilizers to make lock picking very difficult.  The unique feature is  this lock has 8-Lock Codes built in.  Our CobraMatic Cam Lock can be changed to one of 8 lock codes with NO outward indication as to what is the current operating code.  To change the lock a “Change Key” is inserted into the lock and pointed to the current lock code.  Then the change key is rotated to the new lock code and removed.  At this point the old key will not work and the new lock code is the operating lock code.  For additional information please click HERE.

Cobra and CobraMatic Cam Locks:

We realized  there are many hundred of thousands Tubular Cam Locks in use around the world.   So we designed the Cobra Cam Lock and the CobraMatic Cam Lock to be compatible with most of these locks.  The concept is simple we  make these two locks so that the users current keys (from another manufacturer) will operate our locks.
